New Year, New Plans (sort of)

Happy New Year!

I can't believe it's 2025! As a little kid I used to think we would all be living like the Jetsons by 2025. And while we're not that far off, we're not exactly zooming around in flying suitcase cars yet either.

On the other hand, I never dreamed I would end up living on a sailboat like Sinbad either. So I suppose the takeaway is: life rarely goes the way we think it will.

With that sentiment in mind, we sat down to share where we are right now, some thoughts on 2024, what's next for us and what we think we are doing in 2025.

If you didn't catch this one a few years ago, I take you back to my childhood home in West Texas. It might explain a lot...or at least it could surprise you.

FINDING SUNKEN TREASURE IN THE PHILIPPINES
We may have to make some major boat modifications soon, because treasure hunting could be our new full-time gig! Turns out the Philippines are one of the world’s biggest hotspots for shipwrecks and lost treasure. 🤯 As luck would have it, we meet a legendary sea explorer (we’re talking
This is what travel should feel like
Gent is a city that, like its beer, hit us with its smooth complexity and charm. It’s a university town, that feels alive with youthful buzz. The coffee shops, cafes and seemingly every ornate corner was draped in wide eyed scholars. We heard accents and met students from all over
