Causing Trouble Sailing Into Palawan

You know the old saying, don’t count your chickens before they hatch?  Well, I was reminded of this sentiment more than once this week.   Because each time I made a proclamation about how “great or easy” things were…I was met with a swift stick or security guards. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Never a dull moment.

We’re sailing through the Palawan province here in the Philippines to a beautiful little spot called El Nido.  We’re meeting up with an old friend and a few new ones. And misadventures aside, we find ourselves surrounded by stunning landscapes, unbelievably hospitable people and meals worthy of royalty.
